Why are products available in airless pumps not filled to the top of the bottle? There is an empty space.
This is normal. The product would overflow during the filling process if we filled more. However, our customers are not robbed because the bottles are larger than the advertised capacity and Predige fills them just more to compensate for the loss of product in the pump or the tube for example. A 30 ml bottle is filled with approximately 32.5 ml of product. Predige is checked every year, on unannounced dates, by the state weights and measures services, which verify that the bottles contain at least the expected quantity or that our scales are correct. Since 1978, no error or fraud has ever been reported.
I just received a new product and when I press the pump, nothing comes out...
The vacuum pumps, called "airless", must be primed because there can be air bubbles at the beginning of use and sometimes during use. In the vast majority of cases, it is enough to press repeatedly 5 or 6 times on the pump to evacuate the air and make the product come out. More rarely, it is necessary to insist with about 40 presses.
Tip: place the pump on a table and hold it with a hand containing a tissue in front of the pump's nozzle (this will avoid a jet of product on the floor when it reboots and you can use the product). With the other hand, press quickly on the pump until the product comes out.
Are your products vegan?
Yes, since the founding of Predige in 1978, we have refused to use any ingredients of animal origin or mineral oil (petroleum) in our formulas. Since then, we have also banned parabens, nanoparticles, phenoxyethanol (a controversial preservative), PEGs, etc. ...., a total of over 400 chemical substances.
Are your products tested on animals?
No, our products are never tested on animals according to Swiss and European legislation. But we do test them on ourselves... 😊
In which countries do you deliver?
All countries available on the site can be delivered. However, you have to select the country (top right of the site) where the delivery will be made. For example, you are in Switzerland and want to deliver products to friends in France, select "France" in the list of countries available on the site.
