Our tips for applying blush correctly

Blush is an essential part of any make-up application, bringing a touch of freshness and vitality to the face. Here are a few simple steps to apply it properly:

  1. Choose the right shade: First, choose a blush shade that matches your skin tone and desired effect. Rosy shades generally suit most skin tones, while peach or coral tones can add subtle warmth. Darker shades can be used for contouring or a more dramatic look.

  2. Prepare your skin: Before applying blush, make sure your skin is clean and well moisturized. You can also apply a thin layer of foundation or powder to help set the blush and prolong its hold.

  3. Find your cheekbones: To determine where to apply blush, smile slightly and locate the rounded parts of your cheeks. This is where you'll concentrate your blush application.

   4. Apply blush: Using a clean, preferably medium-sized blush brush - Ref. A311, pick up a small amount of product and tap lightly to remove any excess. Next, gently blend blush along your cheekbones, using circular or sweeping motions towards the temples. Start with a light layer of product and add more as needed to intensify color.

   5. Blend well: For a natural finish, be sure to blend blush carefully to avoid harsh lines or smudges. Use a clean brush or your fingers to gently blend the product into your skin until it blends seamlessly.

   6. Set: Finally, for optimum hold, you can set your make-up with a light mist of fixative or a thin layer of translucent powder.
